Economics

Mr. Faubion

Welcome, Bienvenue, Hoan nghênh, Bienvenido!

Greetings 2024 - 2025 Students!

I'm excited to be your Economics Instructor at Nederland High School! This is my fifteenth year teaching at Nederland ISD and my 27nd year working with students in the state of Texas.

A little about me... I completed my Bachelors of Arts Degree in History from Sam Houston State University in 2005. I have a background in working with students with learning disabilities, emotional / behavioral disabilities, and hard to serve / at risk youth.

My family is a very important part of my life. I live here in Nederland and have 3 children.

In addition to being a teacher and father of three, I also enjoy volunteering in the community. I serve as the faculty advisor for the Nederland Key Club which is sponsored by the Jefferson County Kiwanis Club. I encourage each of you to check it out.

I love working with students in high school and being a part of the incredible process to prepare you for college and the world that awaits you as a young person. I'm looking forward to serving with the staff at Nederland High, your parents, and most importantly you.

Sincerely,

Mr. Hunter Faubion
